Silent Mountain Retreat

28 august – 1 september 2019| Hohe Wand, Austria

An invitation to immerse oneself in the vast landscapes of inner silence and to learn more about who we really are.

In this retreat we explore silence. Feeling the beauty of nature and being away from our everyday lifes will help us to pause and to observe our experience in the moment. It creates inner space and changes our perspective: we come in contact with ourselves and feel less imprisoned in our thoughts. We become more sensitive to what surrounds us and feel more connected it.

The retreat will be structured with silent and guided meditations, meetings with nature, and exchanges with the teacher and with the group.

Since this week is about deepening our inner exploration, practitioners of all levels of meditation are welcome. Meditations stays challenging for most practitioners and Denis has a great gift for guiding us in a very practical way.

The Bergzendo sits on top of a cliff in the nature park “Hohe Wand” and its beautifull meditation hall overlooks the plains below. It was only recently established as a meditation center by the zen community of Vienna, and was carefully renovated by hand. It is around one hour away from Vienna. Despite its simplicity it offers many conveniences such as delicious vegan/vegetarian food and comfortable rooms. See for yourself:

Denis Robberechts will lead the meditations.
He has spent more than seven years in India to devote himself to meditation and Indian classical music. As an experienced meditation teacher his clear and practical guidance helps us to find a clear approach to meditation. To Denis meditation means the ability to observe and is not tied to any belief system.

We will give you soon more detailed information. There will be a participation fee. In addition, we ask for Dana (free donation for teachers and organizers, read about donation). We will have vegetarian and vegan meals, and there is room to care about food allergies if necessary.
Please contact us if you would like to come but your financial situation would prevent you from attending.

Registration will open end of April.
